Spring is considered the favourite and most notable season to the people of Japan. It is a beautiful, magical, and joyful season of all. With many cherry blossom festivals held across the county, it’s one of the best times to explore Japan’s beautiful spring landscape, and unique culture and traditions. 

In this interactive & hands-on Spring Florals theme workshop, learn to craft your very own traditional Japanese nerikiri & take home your beautiful works of edible art to enjoy with friends & family! 

Class size is limited to 3 pax per session, to maximise individual attention & guidance.

Highlights of Experience

In this workshop, you will learn:
- A brief history of wagashi & the culture behind this traditional art form.
- The significance of various seasonal Nerikiri designs
- How to truly appreciate wagashi
- Basic knowledge of how to make wagashi from scratch
- Fundamentals of handling nerikiri dough, shaping & crafting techniques
- Step-by-step guidance to create 3 different Spring nerikiri designs
(Participants will craft a total of 4 pieces)

*This workshop is suitable for beginners; no prior knowledge is required.
**All tools and equipment will be provided for use during the workshop.
