Pen cai Ingredients include:

Special Gravy, Braised Abalone, Australian Sea Cucumber, Deep Sea Fish Maw, Prawn Paste Ball, Japanese Scallop, Shiitake Mushroom, Crispy Pork Belly, Dried Oysters, Roasted Mid-Joint Chicken Wings, Fat Choy, Fried Yam, Fried Lotus Root, Abalone and Ham Sauce (no preservatives added)

The essence of the Pen cai lies with the flavourful Abalone and Ham gravy which is cooked and simmered for more than 12 hours using more than 10 ingredients such as old hen, duck, pork belly, ham, scallops, and dried oysters.


About the Chef

Chef Pang Nyuk Yoon has over 28 years of culinary teaching experience in Singapore. She currently teaches at the At-Sunrise Global Chief Academy. She has also taught at the Banking Industry Training Centre (BITC), the Civil Service Club, and the Singapore Girl's Home, and was a guest chef teacher at Bentfort Cooking School, specializing in local and nonya cuisine. She regularly contributes to magazine and newspaper food columns to share her culinary passion and insights with readers.
