Itinerary
- 9:00am: Meet your guide at the front the Sultan Mosque. Get an overview of the history, design, architecture of the Sultan Mosque and its role & function in Muslim community.
- 9:15am: Go on a walking tour of Bussorah Mall, Baghdad Street & Arab Street to learn about how early Malay and Muslim immigrants established themselves in that enclave. Discover how Kampong Glam got its name.
- 9:45am: Refreshment break of Malay Kueh at Rumah Minang.
- 10:10am: Hop onto our coach for the ride to Chinatown.
- 10:30am:Visit the Thian Hock Keng Temple and understand and appreciate the beliefs, customs
and traditions of the early Chinese community of Singapore. - 10:50am: Walk through this historic area of Ann Siang Hill where many clan associations & trade guilds once existed. Stop by one of the wells that used to provide water for the people who lived in Chinatown.
- 11:15am: Back on our coach for a short ride to Little India.
- 11:35am: Stop by the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and appreciate the architectural heritage of the Indians and learn about the religious beliefs of the Indian Hindu community
- 11:50am: Serangoon Road, Campbell Lane & Buffalo Road walking tour. On this walk, you will learn about traditional Indian businesses like garland stalls, goldsmith shops & Indian provision shops.
- 12:30pm: Traditional Indian Lunch served on banana leaf at Sakunthala Food Palace.
- 1:30pm: End of programme at Little India MRT Station Exit E.
